When you send money with Sendwave from the US to Liberia, the fee is 3% of the amount sent or a maximum fee of 6 USD whichever is less. However, this does not cover the fees that MTN charges to cash-out the transfer at an agent location in Liberia. The MTN fees are only applied if you decide to withdraw the funds from your wallet, however, you don't need to and you can store the money in your wallet just like a bank account.

Yes, you will need the latest version of the Sendwave app, version 4.32 or newer, in order to be able to send USD to Haiti. To check if you have the latest version of the Sendwave app, you can open the app, click on the account or profile icon, scroll down to the end of the screen, and then scroll down again and you will see the version of the app that is installed. If the version you have is not at least 4.32, then you will need to update your app. To do this, go to the play store on your Android or app store on your iPhone and search Sendwave.
